Dirigo High School uses the Modern Language Association (MLA) format for preparing bibliographies, references lists, and in-text citations. Following are links to examples of the proper format for citations, and also web tools that will format for you. A handout of the MLA format is available in the library.

Simply type in the information about the source that needs to be cited and the machine will format it for you. Copy and paste into your own reference list.
